Adelaide | In School Workshop
Learn more about the power of murals and public art. Artist Elizabeth Close will visit your school one day a week over eight weeks, to create a mural to be exhibited in a professional gallery as part of DreamBIG 2021.
Elizabeth Close is a Pitjantjatjara and Yankunytjatjara woman from the APY Lands in Central Australia. Elizabeth teaches the importance of public art, how it is accessible and inclusive. It is artwork for and about community.
How to Apply
This offer is available to Year 3 - 7 students in DFE SA IoEDCat 1-4 schools and would suit a class with cultural diversity. To register your interest please send a maximum half page proposal describing why your school would benefit from this experience to centrED@adelaidefestivalcentre.com.au with the subject line 'Murals' by Tuesday 24 November 2020.
